Log In

Log in to the My.VPSLink.com Control Center at https://my.vpslink.com/

Important: You must have JavaScript enabled to interact with the My.VPSLink.com Control Center - please ensure that JavaScript is enabled in your web browser's settings.

Manage Server

Manage Server features allow you to perform basic virtual private server administration from the My.VPSLink.com server control center.

Manage OS

Select an OS template to install on your VPS.

We offer more than thirty template choices (including templates with HostInABox, Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP, or Ruby on Rails pre-configured).

If LAMP, RoR, or HostInABox is not specified in the name of the OS template, you will be installing the distribution which you have selected with a fresh, minimal install.

Upgrade Server

  1. Select the VPSLink hosting plan which you would like to upgrade to from the drop-down menu
  2. Check the radio box to acknowledge the upgrade terms
  3. Click the Upgrade button to request an upgrade
    • OpenVZ: Upgrades are provisioned automatically via the VPSLink provisioning system
    • Xen: Upgrade requests are escalated to the VPSLink Sales and Billing department for completion

Network Monitoring

Receive e-mail notifications from the VPSLink Service Monitor:

  1. Check the Enable box for the IP which you would like to monitor
  2. Enter the E-mail address to have notifications sent to
  3. List the ports which you would like to monitor in the Port list field (you may separate multiple port number entries with a blank space, a comma, or a semi-colon)
  4. Click the Submit Query button to enable notification

If your server stops responding on any of the ports which are being monitored, you will receive a notification e-mail within fifteen minutes.

Show License Options

Sign up for WHM / cPanel, DirectAdmin, or ServerCP+ reseller control panel licensing.

Note: We also offer HostInABox / LXAdmin as a free alternative to paid control panel licensing. If you have a Link-2 plan (or better), HostInABox may be installed by installing the Centos 5 - HostInABox template from the Manage OS menu.

Change Root Password

Easily change the root password for your VPS from the My.VPSLink.com Control Center.

Change Server Name

Change your server's hostname.

Turn Server Off

Turn off your VPS.

Reboot Server

Reboot your VPS.

Note: Server management features will be made unavailable until the reboot process has completed.

Shell Access

Access your VPS terminal through a Java-based web interface.

Note: The web interface is configured to use the default SSH port (22) for shell access. SSH must be configured to listen on port 22 if you intend to use this feature.

Manage Billing

Log in at https://my.vpslink.com/index.php and click the Manage Billing icon to manage payments, upgrade your service, review or pay invoices, and update your payment method.

Reset a Lost Password

The Reset Password feature allows you to reset your My.VPSLink.com password. This password is separate of your VPS root password.

You may use the Change Root Password option found in the Manage Server display to make changes to your VPS root password.

  1. Select the My Info tab
  2. Click the Reset Password link in the lower left-hand corner of the My Info tab
  3. Enter your new password in the Password field
  4. Re-enter your new password in the Verify field
  5. Click the Update button to complete the password reset process

Review or Upgrade Services

  1. Select the Subscriptions tab
  2. Choose the service you would like to review or upgrade
    • To view information about a service: Click the Subscription Info button
    • To upgrade a service: Click the Upgrade button

Review or Pay an Invoice

  1. Select the Invoices tab
  2. Choose the invoice which you would like to review or pay
    • To review an invoice: Click the View Invoice button
    • To pay an invoice: Click the Pay Invoice button

Update Payment Method

  1. Select the My Info tab
    1. Click the Update Billing Info link in the lower left-hand corner of the tab display
    2. Select Credit Card or PayPal as your new payment method
      • Credit Card Update: Complete all requested fields and click Ok
      • PayPal Update: Click the PayPal Update button and complete all requested fields at the PayPal site

Update Contact Information

  1. Select the My Info tab
  2. Enter changes to your contact information and click the Ok button

Get Support

Visit the VPSLink Support Center to update or create a support ticket, submit a Reverse DNS Request, or cancel service.
